Joel is a dedicated civil engineer and data analyst with a strong educational background, including a Master’s degree in Communication and Transportation Engineering from Southeast University in China and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Kampala International University. In addition to his academic credentials, he holds various certificates, including Sustainable Finance for Climate and Energy from UNDP, UNESCO ASpnet Leadership, and Chenguan Student’s Center Management from Southeast University, China. He is also certified in Post Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA) from GFDRR, EU, World Bank, and UN, as well as Emergency Preparedness and Response from UNICEF. With a strong skillset in data analysis using software like SPSS, Python, machine learning, and R, he is proficient in design software and project management. His experience spans geotechnical materials analysis, sustainable infrastructure development, transportation systems analysis, traffic and safety, and construction materials and processes. As a founding member of Jucai Consults Ltd, Kironde is also a research scholar with a focus on sustainable development, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting energy efficiency, with research experience in both Uganda and Asia.
